Prince William County Police Report – Wednesday, February 19, 2014

**INCIDENTS**

 

Attempted Arm Robbery – On February 18th at 9:05PM, officers responded to the Yorkshire Service Center located at 7522 Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business, approached the counter, and demanded money. The suspect extended his hand, which was covered with a pillow case, implying he had a weapon. During the encounter, the victim threw a chair at the man who then fled from the store on foot. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.  No injuries were reported and no money was taken.

Suspect Description:

White male, between 16 & 19 years of age, 5’7”, 160lbs with thin build

Last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, black shoes and something black covering on his face

 

Residential Burglary – On February 19th at 3:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14800 block of Dixon Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM and 10:00PM on February 18th.  There were no signs of forced entry into the home.  Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecure door.  A gaming system, laptop and miscellaneous Jordan style tennis shoes, total value around $850, were reported missing.

 

Residential Burglary – On February 18th at 3:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9600 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 3:20PM. Entry was made into the home through a window which was broken out.  A laptop, gaming console with controller, miscellaneous food and alcoholic beverages, jewelry, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, total value around $1,000, were reported missing.


Commercial Burglary – On February 18th at 10:31AM, officers responded to the Princeton Woods Apartment Complex located at 3465 Dry Powder Cir in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary.  An apartment complex employee reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on February 17th and 7:00AM on February 18th. Entry was made into a community gym through a window which was broken out.  No property was reported missing.
