**INCIDENTS**
Crash – Fatality – On March 29th at 8:16PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Minnieville Rd and Darbydale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian. The investigation revealed that a driver, and only occupant, of a 2009 Nissan Murano was traveling eastbound on Minnieville Rd through the intersection in the area above when the vehicle crossed paths with a pedestrian who was attempting to cross Minnieville Rd. The driver remained at the scene. The pedestrian was flown to area hospital where he died on April 3rd. Speed, alcohol and drug use are not factors in this investigation. Investigators are continuing to investigate which party had the right of way at the time of the collision. At this time no charges have been placed. The driver of the 2009 Nissan Murano was identified as a 57 year old woman of Alexandria
Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer l Unlawful Entry – On April 2nd at 2:11PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1700 block of Ivy Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an unlawful entry which was reported to have occurred on April 1st at 2:00PM. A resident of the home reported to police that she heard a knock at the front door of the home but did not answer. A few moments later, the resident observed an unknown man enter the home through an unlocked side door. During the encounter, the man verbally identified himself as a government law enforcement agent and requested her identification. After providing the man with her name, the man left the residence without further incident and got into a vehicle. No injuries were reported and no property was taken from the home.

Hispanic male, unknown age, 5’2”, 200lbs with a heavy build – no further description
Last seen wearing black jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and a green reflective vest with black shoes
Vehicle Description:
Blue, pick-up style truck with a metal tool box located in the bed area
Residential Burglary – On April 3rd at 4:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9500 block of Fintry St in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between March 28th at 5:00PM and March 31st at 5:00PM. Entry was made into the home when an unknown person(s) disengaged the lock on a secure door to the residence. Multiple stereo systems, miscellaneous home décor items, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, valued around $1,400, were reported missing.
Attempted Commercial Burglary – On April 3rd at 8:06AM, officers responded to The Maids, a commercial establishment, located at 2239 Tacketts Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted burglary. The business owner reported to police that between April 2nd at 5:20PM and April 3rd at 7:00AM, an unknown person(s) attempted to make entry into the business by prying open a secured door. Entry was not made into the establishment and no property was reported missing.
