**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On April 10th at 6:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Elm Farm Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:15AM and 6:31PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a window which had been broken out. Jewelry, valued around $400, was reported missing
Attempted Residential Burglary – On April 10th at 3:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Barnett’s Crossing Pl in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she heard a knock on the door inside the garage leading into the residence. Prior to opening the door the homeowner asked the unknown person(s) for their identity. It was at that time that the homeowner was instructed to open the door by the voice of an unknown male. The homeowner contacted police while also yelling for another occupant of the resident. The homeowner also activated the residential alarm. The suspect fled the area prior to police arriving at the home. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing. The homeowner was unable to describe the suspect.
**ARRESTS**
Attempted Malicious Wounding – On April 10th at 7:49PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Old Carolina Rd in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 28 year old man of Gainesville, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The victim fled from the accused to another room and was able to exit the residence through a window. Once outside, the victim contacted police. When officers arrived, they encountered the accused inside the residence. The accused was arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported.

Charged with malicious wounding

Narcotics Investigation – On April 10th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of marijuana. As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed at a residence located in the 10200 block of Launch Cl in Manassas (20109). During the search, marijuana and items consistent with distribution were located. Following the investigation, two suspects were arrested without incident.

Ryan Mariano MARTINEZ, 19, of 9417 Spotsylvania St in Manassas
Charged with 2 counts of distribution of marijuana
Court date: June 6, 2014 l Bond: $5,000 secured

Charged with possession of marijuana

Narcotics Investigation – On April 10th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the transporting and distribution of marijuana. As a result of the investigation, a search of a vehicle occupied by all three suspects was conducted in the area of the 17800 block of Mine Rd in Dumfries (22026). During the search, marijuana and items consistent with distribution were located. Following the investigation, all suspects were arrested without incident.

Suequinta Shynea BOOKER, 25, of 14814 Danville Rd in Woodbridge
Jahari Christopher DAVIS, 21, of 1300 Redbud Ct in Woodbridge
Davonn Antonio ROBINSON, 20, of no fixed address
All suspects were charged with distributing over 5lbs of marijuana, transporting over 5lbs of marijuana and conspiracy to violate the drug control act
