**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On June 20th at 3:24AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11100 block of Wortham Crest Cir in Manassas (20110) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that an unknown man was found inside of his vehicle which was parked inside of an attached garage. The man immediately fled on foot. The investigation revealed that the man had made entry into the garage through an open door. No entry was made into the main residence and no property was reported missing. The homeowner was unable to provide a description of the suspect to police.
Residential Burglary – On June 19th at 2:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Hanover Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 3:50PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. A TV, valued around $300, was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On June 19th at 10:36AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16600 block of Chalice Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 34 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted and choked the victim. Officers arrived at the home and attempted to detain the accused. At that point, the accused actively resisted officers. The accused was eventually detained. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
