**INCIDENTS**
Bomb Threat to a School – On September 19th at 9:24AM, officers responded to Fred Lynn Middle School located at 1650 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a reported bomb threat. The investigation revealed that school staff received a phone call advising them of the threat around 9:20AM. The school was evacuated of students, faculty and staff prior to police arriving. Precautionary action was also taken to close the Prince William Pkwy in front of the school until the search of the building was complete. Officers conducted an extensive check of the building which included the use of a police K-9. No threat was located. Detectives were eventually able to identify the caller as a 13 year old male student. The student was not at the school when the threat was reported. Detectives further determined that the threat was a prank. The case has been turned over to the Juvenile Court System for review and further action.
Strong Armed Robbery – On September 21st at 8:50PM, officers responded to the 7500 block of Clemson Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Manassas, reported to police that he was walking to his residence when he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, the men assaulted the victim before taking earphones and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. After the assault, the suspects fled on foot. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located.

Residential Burglary – On September 21st at 10:10PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8700 block of Diamond Hill Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that she was in her living room when she heard a door open which leads from an attached garage to the kitchen area of the home. The homeowner, who believed a family member was returning to the residence, went into the kitchen where she then observed an unknown man. The man immediately fled through the same door. No property was reported missing. The male is believed to have entered the home through an open garage door then through an unlocked interior door.

White male, between 20 & 25 years of age with short brown hair

Burglary to a Church – On September 21st at 8:18AM, officers responded to the Winner’s House Church located at 17221 Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:01AM and 8:10AM. The investigation revealed that entry was gained into the church through a rear door which was forced open. A camcorder, projector and three computers, total value around $5,800, in addition to, a safe containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On September 21st at 12:23AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2600 block of Seville Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30PM on September 20th and 12:15AM on September 21st. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear door. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and other property were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On September 19th at 12:13PM, officers responded to investigate a burglary which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 9000 block of Falcon Glen Ct in Bristow (20136) on September 17th. The homeowner reported to police that she was in her residence when she heard her dogs barking on an upper level floor of the home. When the homeowner went to check on her dogs, she observed an unknown man standing in her dining room. The man claimed to be on a delivery and promptly exited the home. The man never identified himself or the company he worked for during the encounter. No property was reported missing.

Hispanic male, between 30 & 40 years of age, 5’8”, 160lbs with a thin build and short black hair

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On September 21st at 1:57AM, officers responded to a business located in the 300 block of Potomac Ave in the Town of Quantico (22171) to investigate an attempted burglary. A witness reported to police that an unknown person was seen attempting to enter the business through a rear door. The suspect fled prior to police arriving in the area. Officers checked the business and observed damaged to the door. No entry is believed to have been gained into the business and no property was reported missing.

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On September 21st at 2”48AM, officers responded to Beltsville Construction Supply Rental located at 10337 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (201019) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and observed a broken side window. A police K-9 was used to search for the possible suspect(s). No entry is believed to have been made into the business and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On September 21st at 4:36PM, officers responded to the area of Minnieville Rd and Hedgewood Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault in progress. A witness reported to police that a man and woman were involved in a verbal altercation in the above area. The witness further reported that the altercation escalated when the male suspect struck the female. The male suspect then reportedly picked up the female and carried her into a nearby wooded area. Officers responded and heard a woman screaming from that area. Officers located the victim, identified as a 27 year old woman of Alexandria, and the accused. Once observed by police, the accused immediately fled on foot through the wooded area where officers lost sight of him. The victim sustained minor injuries. Officers eventually located the accused in the area of Sonora St and Caloosa Way. The accused continue to flee before being taken into custody. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. The victim and the accused were known to one another.

Assault & Battery | Failure to Report Child Abuse or Neglect – On September 16th, detectives from the Physical Abuse Unit responded to the Goddard School located at 5490 Staples Mill Plz in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault & battery involving an employee and child of the facility which occurred on September 11th. The investigation into the incident revealed that a teacher of the facility, identified as Theresa BROWN, allegedly bit a 13 month old boy after the child reportedly bit another teacher. As a result, the child sustained a bite mark to his shoulder. A witness to the incident immediately reported the encounter to management of the facility. The owner of the Goddard School, identified as Nadia CHOUDHRY, was made aware of the incident as well but failed to report it to Child Protective Services in accordance with state law. The owner further informed the reporting staff member to not report the incident to authorities. The incident was eventually reported to Child Protective Services anonymously on September 12th. Following the investigation, both parties were charged in connection to the incident on September 19th.

Attempted Indecent Liberties with a Minor – On September 10th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into alleged misconduct involving a youth pastor and a student who attends Park Valley Church located at 4500 Waverly Farm Dr in Haymarket (20169). The investigation revealed that on August 20th the youth pastor, identified as the accused, used a cell phone application called “KIK” to send sexually explicit messages to the victim, a 15 year old female juvenile. No physical contact was made between the two parties. Church staff learned of the incident and reported the encounter to police. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused who was located and arrested in North Carolina on September 18th.
