**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On October 26th at 12:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6800 block of Specialized Trl in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM on October 25th and 12:30AM on October 26th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. A MacBook was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 25th at 8:51PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 9900 block of Gardenia Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary in progress. The resident of the apartment reported to police that he was sleeping in his room when three unknown men forced entry into his residence through the front door. Once inside, the men took laptop and gaming console before fleeing on foot. No contact was made between the suspects and the resident. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Black male, between 20 & 22 years of age, 6’0”, 165lbs with a thin build, dark complexion and black hair

Residential Burglary – On October 23rd at 3:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of Flagship Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:05AM and 2:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was broken out. Two laptops and an iPod were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 23rd at 12:16PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3300 block of Yost Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00PM and 10:40PM on October 22nd. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. A laptop, computer bag and a Kindle were reported missing.
Attempted Commercial Burglary – On October 26th at 10:58AM, officers responded to the Professional Collision Center located at 14132 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. Employees of a neighboring business reported to police that the alarm to the collision center was sounding and that three men were seen running from the rear of the business. Officers checked the building and discovered an unsecured rear door. No property was reported missing. No further description of the suspects was provided to police.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 25th at 3:46PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4300 block of Decatur Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 2:00PM on October 17th and 2:45PM on October 25th, entry was attempted into the home through a rear door which was found damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 24th at 11:41AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15100 block of Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a suspicious person. The caller reported to police that an unknown man was seen jumping over a fence belonging to a home in the above area. Officers arrived and discovered a rear window to the residence was broken out. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding – On October 24th at 10:58AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3800 block of Del Mar Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and pushed the victim onto the couch. Once on the couch, the accused held the knife to the victim’s neck. The two parties eventually separated. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Strangulation – On October 26th at 2:10PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15700 block of Tassleford Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused put his hands around the victim’s neck. The two parties eventually separated. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Attempted Malicious Wounding – On October 16th at 11:44AM, officers responded to the Macy’s in Manassas Mall located at 8270 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shoplifter. Officers arrived at the business and were informed by store security that the accused took clothing items and left the business without paying. As security went to detain the accused, he attempted to bite one of them on the hand. No contact was made. As officers attempted to arrest the accused, he actively resisted. Following a brief struggle, the accused was detained without further incident. During questioning, the accused provided officers with a false identity.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On October 22nd at 5:58PM, officers responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash. As a result of the investigation, one of the driver’s, identified as the accused, was arrested for driving under the influence. During the arrest, the accused pushed the arresting officer and then struck him in the face with his elbow. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. The officer was not injured.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, resisting arrest and driving under the influence
