Daily Incident Report for Friday, March 6, 2015

**UPDATES**

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On March 2nd, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 8000 block of Community Dr in Manassas on February 1st. The investigation revealed that this suspect, identified as Deonta GRAY, conspired with a 14 year old female juvenile acquaintance to rob the victim in the above area. Following the investigation, detectives obtained charges on both suspects. The juvenile suspect was located and arrested on March 3rd without incident. Warrants remain on file for the arrest of GRAY.

Deonta Lamont GRAY, 22, of the 8600 block of Devonshire Ct in Manassas City

Described as black male, 6’2”, 180lbs with black hair and brown eyes

Wanted for robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, conspiracy to commit a felony and contributing to the delinquency of a minor

Charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On February 1st at 2:29PM, officers responded to the 8000 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 13 year old male juvenile of Manassas, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the men assaulted the victim and, at one point, knocked him to the ground. Once on the ground, the men continued to assault the victim before demanding his property. One of the men threatened the victim by implying he had a weapon. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone, ring and backpack before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

 

**INCIDENTS**

 

Residential Burglary – On March 5th at 2:10AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2600 block of River Basin Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a disorderly call. The caller reported to police that an unknown person was heard banging on the front door. No entry was made into the home. The suspect was also not seen and fled prior to police arriving in the area. While officers were investigating this incident, the front door to a neighbor’s residence was found open. The homeowner at that residence was asleep and did not hear the intruder. During a check of the residence, a TV and DVD player were reported missing. Officers established a perimeter around the neighborhood and a police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

 

**ARRESTS**

 

Forcible Sodomy | Domestic Assault & Battery – On March 5th at 5:51PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Emerald Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic incident. The victim, a 51 year old of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim both physically and sexually. After the incident, the accused fled the home and the victim contacted police. The accused was located and arrested without incident at an area motel.

Ravon Keith MCCALL, 58, of the 7400 block of Emerald Dr in Manassas

Charged with forcible sodomy and domestic assault & battery

Court date: pending | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

 

Reckless Handling of a Firearm | Possession of a Stolen Firearm – On March 5th at 12:53AM, officers responded to the 14600 block Estate Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that a single gunshot was heard in the above area. A possible description of the shooter was also provided by the caller. Officers arrived in the area and located a vehicle containing multiple occupants. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a handgun which was later determined to have been stolen out of Fairfax County in January. The investigation further revealed that one of the occupants in the vehicle, identified as the accused, was the shooter in the initial incident.  Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Natnaile Aberra SOLOMON, 18, of 12983 Trentdale Dr in Woodbridge

Charged with reckless handling of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful concealment of a firearm

Court date: April 8, 2015 | Bond: $2,000 secured

 

Narcotics Investigation – On February 4th, the School Resource Officer at Patriot High School, 10504 Kettle Run Rd in Nokesville, was informed that a student, a 17 year old male juvenile, was in possession of suspected LSD. This information was learned after a school staff member overheard students talking in class. The school staff member immediately notified school security who then notified the School Resource Officer. The student was pulled from class and after a subsequent search, several tabs of suspected LSD were recovered. As a result of this investigation, several other students at the school were identified as also being in possession of LSD and other prescription medications. Following the investigation, six juvenile students of the school were charged on February 25th. Of the six arrested, four of the student’s charges will be handled officially and deferred into a juvenile appropriate drug program.

Charged with possession with intent to distribute a scheduled I/II narcotic on school grounds and possession of a scheduled I/II narcotic

 

A 15 year old male juvenile of Gainesville, 9th grader

Charged with possession with intent to distribute a scheduled I/II narcotic on school grounds and possession of a scheduled IV narcotic

A 16 year old female juvenile of Gainesville, 10th grader

Charged with possession of a scheduled I/II narcotic

 

A 17 year old male juvenile of Bristow, 11th grader

Charged with possession with intent to distribute a scheduled I/II narcotic

 

A 14 year old female juvenile of Gainesville, 9th grader

Charged with possession with intent to distribute a scheduled IV narcotic
