**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On March 10th at 4:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Elm Farm Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 3:50PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a front window which was found damaged. Jewelry and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On March 10th at 8:01PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16700 block of Chowning Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 8:00AM and 8:00PM, entry was attempted into their residence through the front door which was found damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On November 27th at 2:40PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at an apartment located in the 18400 block of Old Triangle Rd in Triangle (22172). The victim, a 28 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and a female friend went to visit the accused, a known acquaintance, at his apartment in the above area. Once inside the apartment, the victim and the accused got into a verbal altercation. During the encounter, the accused held the victim against her will and then struck her in the head with a wooden chair. The victim sustained a significant head injury and was transported to an area hospital where police were contacted. Detectives attempted to locate the accused on multiple occasions since the incident occurred; however, the accused was believed to have left the state following the incident. On March 9th, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused who was eventually located at an apartment on Gableridge Turn where he was arrested without incident on March 10th.

Possession of a Firearm in School Property – The Prince William County Police Department received information that a security resident at Woodbridge Senior High School, located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192), was possibly in possession of a firearm on school property. The information detectives received was that the security resident, identified as the accused, possessed two firearms at his residence on school grounds and allegedly carried the weapon while conducting security checks at the school. Security residents are permitted to reside on school grounds and are tasked with performing routine security checks of the grounds. Non-law enforcement security residents are prohibited from possessing a firearm on school property under Virginia law. Officers made contact with the accused and detained him without incident. A search warrant was subsequently executed at the security residence. As a result of the search, two firearms were recovered. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on March 6th.
