**ARRESTS**
Strong Armed Robbery | Assault & Battery – On August 9th at 4:09AM, police responded to the area of Fuller Heights Rd and Quantico Terrace Dr in Triangle (22172) for an assault. The victim, a 40 year old woman of Leesburg, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation while walking in the above area. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim multiple times and, at one point, knocked her to the ground. The victim attempted to get away from the accused and call 9-1-1. The accused fled after being observed by a witness. The accused returned a short time later, prior to police arrival, where he forcibly grabbed the victim’s phone and fled again. The accused was eventually located at an address on Queen Dr where he was arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported.
