Strong Armed Robbery *SURVEILLANCE PHOTOS RELEASED – On March 14th, detectives from the Robbery Unit released surveillance photos of the suspect involved in the strong armed robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Wal-Mart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge on February 26th.
Strong Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On February 26th at 1:57PM, officers responded to the Wal-Mart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery in progress. An employee reported to police that she was in the process of checking out another customer when an unknown man approached her and pushed her aside once the register was open. The man then took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and fled the store on foot. No injuries were reported. Employees further stated that the same man was in the store earlier and had taken two packs of cigarettes without paying.
Suspect Description:
White male, between 45 & 50 years of age, 6’0”, 170lbs with a thin build, short brown hair and a mustache
Last seen wearing a dark blue puffy coat, blue jeans, dark blue hat with a light blue emblem, and black shoes
Commercial Burglary l Grand Larceny *ADDITIONAL SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On March 13th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit identified the second suspect involved in two burglary related incident which were reported to have occurred at the Big Lots Store located at 13969 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on February of 2014. Both suspects are still wanted in connection to these cases.

Julius Butler OLDS, 54, of 521 N. Quincy St in Arlington
Described as black male, 5’9”, 199lbs with a heavy build, black hair, and brown eyes
Wanted for burglary, attempted burglary, and grand larceny
Commercial Burglary l Grand Larceny [Previously Released] – On February 27th at 5:06AM, officers responded to the Big Lots Store located at 13969 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. An employee of the store reported to police that she heard a series of loud noises coming from behind the store. When police arrived they encountered two unknown males and a U-Haul truck behind the rear of the store next to shipping containers. The suspects fled the area on foot when they encountered officers. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects. During the investigation, officers determined that the men were attempting to enter the shipping containers by cutting the lock. No entry was made and no property was reported missing. Detectives from the Property Crimes Unit were able the identity one of the suspects through paperwork left inside of the U-Haul at the scene. Detectives were further able to connect this suspect and the U-Haul to a similar incident which occurred on February 9th at the same business. In that incident, the store’s video surveillance cameras captured a U-Haul pull behind the business and two men exit. The men cut and removed the lock to a storage container before stealing close to $8,800 worth of outdoor furniture from inside. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against the accused in connection to both incidents on March 12th. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as black male, 5’11”, 235lbs with a heavy build, black hair, and brown eyes

**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On March 13th at 9:30PM, officers responded to the Good Taste Express Restaurant located at 13568 Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

White male, between 30 & 36 years of age, 6’0”, 180lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, beanie style cap, and a mask
**ARRESTS**
Rape | Abduction with Intent to Defile – On March 12th at 5:33AM, officers responded to the Super 8 Motel located at 17416 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a sexual assault. The victim, an 18 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was sexually assaulted and held against her will inside one of the rooms by the accused, a known acquaintance. Following the encounter, the accused left the room on foot. Following the investigation, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit obtained warrants against the accused who was arrested on March 13th without incident.
