Residential Burglary *ARRESTS – On October 27th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit were able to identify and arrest both juvenile suspects involved in the burglary which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 3100 block of Vanderbilt Ct in Woodbridge on October 27th.

A 15 year old female juvenile and a 14 year old female juvenile – both of Woodbridge
Both suspects were charged with burglary and grand larceny

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On October 27th at 12:07PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Vanderbilt Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary a progress. The caller reported to police that they heard the sound of glass breaking coming from a neighbor’s home. Officers arrived at the residence and discovered entry was made through a rear window which was broken out. Two juvenile females were seen running from the home. A HP Notebook, headphones, iPod and jewelry were reported missing. The homeowner provided police with possible suspect information. Officers are following-up. The investigation continues.
**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Malicious Wounding – On November 2nd at 12:33PM, officers responded to the Macy’s in Manassas Mall located at 8270 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shoplifter. Officers arrived at the business and were informed by store loss prevention that an unknown man entered the store, took clothing items and attempted to leave the business without paying. As an employee went to detain the man, he actively resisted and a struggle ensued. During the encounter, the suspect pulled out a knife and swung it towards the employee. No contact was made and the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area and did not locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
White male, between 30 & 40 years of age, 5’8”, 220lbs with a heavy build, beard and bald
Last seen wearing a tan hooded jacket with a black liner, black polo shirt with red & white stripes and blue jeans
Strong Armed Robbery – On November 3rd at 1:20PM, officers responded to the 13300 block of Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 17 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet a known male acquaintance in the area above. Once there, the acquaintance was accompanied by two additional men. The men surrounded the victim and took property from him which included money. Following the encounter, the men got into a vehicle and fled the area. No injuries were reported. This incident was not random.
Residential Burglary – On November 4th at 1:53AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Danville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:30PM on November 3rd and 12:15AM on November 4th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was found damaged. No property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On November 3rd at 7:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14600 block of Pinon Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was in her kitchen when she observed an unknown man in the hallway of her home. Once seen by the homeowner, the man left the home through a rear door. No contact was made with homeowner and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Black male, between 18 & 20 years of age, 5’10”, 150lbs with a thin build, dark complexion and short black hair
Last seen wearing a tan coat with black patches on the elbows and dark colored pants
**ARRESTS**
Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On November 2nd at 10:19AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 4700 block of Grand Masters Way in Woodbridge (22192) on October 31st. The victim, a 36 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and prevented her from leaving a bedroom multiple times. The two parties eventually separated. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Residential Burglary – On November 3rd at 2:13PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17600 block of Main St located in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary in progress. The caller reported to police that he observed an unknown vehicle occupied by two unknown men pull into the driveway of a neighbor’s residence. The caller further reported that one of the men was seen using a crowbar to enter forcibly the residence through a side door. The caller was able to provide police with a description and license plate number of the vehicle before the suspects fled the area. Responding officers located and stopped the vehicle in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Powells Creek Blvd where both suspects were identified and detained without further incident. The homeowner responded to the residence and reported that no property was taken. Following the investigation, both suspects were arrested.
